Eliminate Large Pores Fast - 4 Tips

Posted on 8:50 AM by Big Blogger

Do you want to eliminate large pores on your skin?
Then this article is for you. Large skin pores are really a problem for many individuals out there. The one reason why you should take immediate steps to eliminate large pores is because if you don't take the steps, those pores will stick together with trapped sebum and result in the formation of bacteria. This bacteria formation will lead to the more serious acne outbreaks. In this article I will tell you how to eliminate large pores fast.

1. Steam your face with warm water:

First you need to open up the pores and unplug them in order to treat them. To do this, fill up your basin with warm water. Make sure that the water is extra warm but at the same time, it should not be scalding hot. Hold your face over the basin for about 1-3 minutes. Then you need to create a juice made of lemon and pineapple. Then grab a washcloth and soak it in that juice. Place the washcloth on your face firmly for at least one minute. Then rinse your skin with warm water. Lemon and pineapple juice contain natural enzymes that tighten and firm the face and purify and brighten the skin. Lemon particularly has the ability to cleanse and shrink the appearance of pores. You can purchase lemon juice and pineapple juice from your local grocer. Lastly, apply ice cubes to your face. Place the ice cubes gently along your pores for 15-30 seconds. This will have a tightening effect on your skin.

2. Buy Pore-Refining Products:

Beauty 4 Ashes(r) and Zia(r) are two great all-natural skin care products who make acne and pore refining products. Beauty 4 Ashes (r) Christian Health & Beauty makes a " U Big Pore Baby System" that in a double-blind study with 200 participants was chosen by 4 out of 5 over Neutrogena's Pore-Refining products. The participants preferred the product based on skin compatibility, results, fragrance, and skin appearance after immediate use. I personally looked at the system, and if do not feel like making your own pore-shrinking products, it contains several researched natural remedies that have been proven to reduce large pores, including sage, lemon, capsicum, sugar, and aloe.

3. Make a Pore-Tightening Mask:

Take Rhassoul Clay and mix with lemon juice, aloe vera juice, and green tea. Rhassoul Clay tightens the pores and purifies the skin. Green Tea is a clinically researched, antioxidant packed and skin healing substance. Celestial Seasonings makes fabulous green tea that is full of vitamins and minerals and comes in many varieties. They also have many special blends on their website. Rhassoul Clay can be found at your local spa. You can also buy a spa detox system from Beauty 4 Ashes.

4. Regularly eat citrus fruits:

You should regularly eat citrus fruits such as oranges and lemon, as they contain the necessary nutrients that produce stronger skin and rebuilds your collagen, resulting in your skin gaining more elasticity. The more elastic your skin is, the smaller your pores will become.

Acne and Dry Skin

Posted on 8:47 AM by Big Blogger

Acne (Acne Vulgaris) is an inflammatory disease of the skin caused by a buildup of oil that clogs pores and allows dead skin and bacteria to accumulate. As the pores get infected, they form lesions such as pimples. While most cases of acne are confined to the face, all parts of the body are susceptible to this disease. People with acne are often advised to stay away from greasy treatment creams and gels. But what do you do if you have both acne and dry skin?

The truth is that the problem does not lie so much in the oil as it does in the bacteria. While certain ordinary dry skin treatments do aggravate acne, others don't, and that's an encouraging thought! This article will deal with just that, as well as other causes of acne that you might not be aware of.

Besides adolescence, the onset of acne is influenced by such factors as cosmetics, diet, and stress. Makeup as a whole is damaging to the skin if not properly cleaned and toned off after the day. A diet loaded with sugar, hydrogenated fats, salt and preservatives can also facilitate the spread of acne, as well as deprive the body of the nutrients necessary to combat dry skin. Stress can cause hormones to fluctuate and also lead to a breakout.

Here are some treatments that address both acne and dry skin at once.

1. Use an oil-free cleanser instead of soap. Soap has a good chance of aggravating both acne and dry skin. Doctors suggest that acne sufferers cleanse their skin twice daily, once in the morning and once in the evening. This will rid the skin of dry, dead cells that tend to clog the pores.

2. Use a moisturizer. Many people still believe that moisturizer will protect you against dry skin, but will make acne worse. Well, no. That's hardly true. Most acne washes and treatments (like Retin-A and Benzoyl Peroxide) tend to dry out the skin, and you'll need something to keep the skin's water content in. Just make sure that the moisturizer does not contain any oil, or else it will indeed worsen your acne! Try looking for gel-based moisturizers or those that contain salicylic acid.

3. Use a sunscreen during the day, and stay out of the sun between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. There are many sunscreens that also moisturize your skin; but as mentioned before, make sure they don't contain any oil.

4. Try including more whole grains, fresh produce, and organic protein in your diet. They have the essential nutrients that keep skin healthy and prevent infections from within.

5. Drink lots of fluids to avoid dry skin at the onset. Eight glasses daily are sufficient.

6. If you're a smoker, quit. Doing so will relieve you of the many pains of skin disease, as well as many other pains, as well!

7. Get some exercise. A light workout will improve circulation and the skin's oxygen content, preventing dryness. It also promotes sweating, keeping pores clear from obstructions and bacteria. Exercising before the onset of acne is also a good idea to limit the chances and severity of a breakout. After exercising, make sure you wash off the sweat; neglecting to do so may invite acne instead of prevent it!

8. Keep the temperature down to maintain a comfortable humidity level. Low moisture content in the air can dry your skin and increase the chances of getting acne. Wear more clothes to keep warm instead; just make sure to dress loosely, since tight clothes can rub and irritate skin. This can be especially troublesome when you have acne on your chest or back.

Some people prefer chemical peels to remove dry skin cells from the face, but this is not advisable for acne. It will irritate and spread the breakout even further. Experts suggest natural treatments, such as the traditional gram flour face mask, for this purpose. There are many recipes for natural face masks on the Internet. Don't be shy to do a search and experiment on the recipes until you find the right one for you. This goes for all other dry skin and acne treatments as well: Different people, different treatments.

In the end, however, it is often wiser to consult your doctor if your dry skin and acne problems bother you. The doctor will suggest certain skin applications or medication, or both. Perhaps the most important thing to remember about acne is that results often do not show until a few weeks of commitment to the treatment regimen. So don't be too quick to dismiss a particular treatment as "useless" until you've given it a chance to prove itself, unless of course it makes the problem worse!

Homemade Acne Treatments and Masks

Posted on 8:45 AM by Big Blogger

Homemade acne treatments are becoming more and more common. Acne must be treated at the root of the problem if you want to be totally clear. Natural treatments do not harm the body in any way, unlike prescribed and over the counter medicines. If you want to get rid of acne totally, you need to be looking at natural treatments.

Now, I am going to share with you some homemade acne treatments and masks that I have used that have yielded some success. These will not harm you in any way, and you can stop doing these treatments if you feel uncomfortable.

Cucumber Mask

As a natural acne mask, you really need to start looking at a cucumber mask. A cucumber is nothing more than cucumbers that are put into a mask. I like to leave the seeds in the masks that I make because I want all the nutrients that I can get. When you make your mask, apply it all over your face and let it sit for around 15 minutes. I do this once a day. You should start seeing a difference within a week or so with how your face looks and feels.

Water

A powerful natural healer is water. Most people do not get enough water each day to get rid of the toxins that are in the body. People who suffer from acne have an excess of these toxins, causing some pretty bad pimples. Drink around 10-12 full glasses of water each day so that you can get rid of the toxins and help your skin heal. If you stick to water, you will see a big difference pretty fast.

Lemon Face Wash

As a natural face wash, I like to use the skin off of a lemon and some warm water. Then lemon juice will help get rid of the acne that you currently have. Take the skin of the lemon and gently wash your face with the skin and warm water. Let the juices stay on your face for around 30 minutes, and then rinse with warm water. You should notice a big difference pretty soon. I usually do this every other day.

I cannot stress enough that in order to treat water you must detoxify your body. Drink plenty of water, and start treating your acne at the source of the problem. There are several steps that you must follow.

How I Cleared My Acne - My Secret

Posted on 8:38 AM by Big Blogger

Acne is a difficult condition to get rid of, mostly due to malpractice by the 'professionals' and a ton acne 'cure' information that gets you nowhere fast...

I tried the usual dermatologist route when first trying to get rid of my acne. This meant I used BP, topical antibiotics and other over-the-counter topicals which did nothing but irritate my skin. After months of this I went on oral antibiotics, which worked for a few weeks, but then my acne came back. I then went on the drug roaccutane, and to make a long story short, it took a year to find out it didn't work!

After this my dermatologist had nothing left to offer me...

So next I spent years trying alternative acne treatments, and unfortunately these were mostly ineffective. Acupuncture, Herbalism, Homeopathy, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Indian Medicine, Fasting, and many others. The fast I went on was the Acne Free In 3 Days one where you eat nothing but apples for 3 days...Suffice to say this wasn't a good acne solution.

So how did I eventually clear my acne. Well, I recently discovered that food plays a big part in acne. Some foods actually cause acne, and by removing those from your diet you can reduce the acne you get dramatically.

For example, did you know that the worst food for acne, which actually causes the worst breakouts, is vegetable oils like sunflower oil?! When I removed vegetable oil from my diet I can't tell you how much my acne improved. I suggest you do the same! To find out more about how I cleared my acne visit my free website now

Food To Avoid For Clearer Skin

Posted on 8:34 AM by Big Blogger

Did you know that what you eat directly affects whether or not you get acne?!

It's true. After many many years of suffering from acne I found this truth out. Some food causes acne. Some don't cause acne. Some fight against acne.

But it took me many years to find out this and apply it to my life so that I would no longer suffer from acne.

So what food causes the worst acne?

Vegetable oil!

This specific type of oil is a common ingredient in modern food. It is found in some sauces like pasta sauce and curry sauces. Not all but some. So check the ingredients label before buying these sauces. Vegetable oil is also found in a lot of junk food like cookies (biscuits) and chips (crisps), not to mention as a cooking oil.

Eliminate vegetable oil from your diet.

But why does vegetable oil cause acne?

It causes homonal imbalance that leads to serious inflammation and results in acne. Vegetable oil is actually the cause of your worst acne, so cutting it out of your diet will get rid of those really nasty cysts.

I personally experienced an amazing clear up after 'quitting' vegetable oil. I suggest you do the same. First, find out as much as you can about it. Find out which foods you eat contain vegetable oil. Find alternatives to ones with vegetable oil in it. And watch as your skin clears up.

Although very simple to do, most people don't understand the importance of avoiding vegetable oil, and they suffer because of it. To find out more about how to clear your acne visit my free website now

Breaking News - Best Acne Treatment

Posted on 8:27 AM by Big Blogger

Acne is a well known skin condition which affects nearly 90% of the teens and even more than them. Most of the people recover from this severe condition without any post-effects made. What about the rest? These people suffer from the scarring -"The acne scars". Though there are many topical beauty care products, the effectiveness may be less. The best acne scar treatment can be found within the skin resurfacing and some of the surgical procedures available. These processes provide you the maximum benefit in blemishing the acne scars.

Whenever acne vanishes by itself or by some cream-treatment, it leaves back the scar, which may be a red pigmented mark and still worse it may turn black. This is actually not an acne scar, but a series of post-acne changes. The healing process takes nearly 6-12 months after acne vanished. If there will be no development of acnes over that particular area, the skin will turn normal within few months.

The unwanted exposure of skin to the sunlight may cause the skin to get damaged, which will ultimately result in delayed healing. Hence it is necessary to wear a sun-screen before you move out. The next best acne scar treatment can be termed to the usage of tretinoin which is complex of Retin-A and Renova plusAvita. This compound speed the remake of the skin and help in diminishing the acne scar. Further more, the correct use of some of antibiotic compounds like Alpha-Hydroxy Acids or Beta-Hydroxy Acid (BHA) comprises of exact measure of the pH which ultimately results in the softening skin.

Peeling off the scabs should be avoided 100%. If the scabs are plucked or peeled off before its usual series of changes or before it gets dried by itself, then the scabs again starts the remodeling of the skin and the process repeats from the first to form a new scab. Hence the drying process will take little more duration. Since the drying of the scab is really important in the treatment of acne scars, using an anti-oxidant makes the post-acne changes and also scars to diminish. The next best acne scar treatment will be the application of vitamin E which when its applied over the face containing acne scars, the acne scars shall be blemished slowly within few weeks.

Acne may appear on face or shoulders or even neck or back and front shoulders. The Acne vulgaris contain non-inflammatory lesions as well as inflammatory lesions but cystic type of acne is little severe than the Acne vulgaris. The acne treatments are available in plenty though the prevention of acnes are little tougher. These treatments reduce the production of sebum which even reduces the bacteria that is responsible for the infection of acne.

Exfoliating the skin with a gentle herbal mix may help peels away the dead tissue. This treatment must be used continuously till acne vanishes. Using a good effective acne treatment, consisting of herbal remedies may be beneficial.
